INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR ILLICIT TRADE IN EXCISE PRODUCTS

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an indictment against Kenan Husagić* aka Keno, born in 1977 in Zenica, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is charged with attempting to illegally put into circulation cigarettes that were not marked with control tax stamps, contrary to Article 25, paragraph 1 of the Law on Excise Duties in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The accused is charged with acquiring, for the purpose of further sale, a large quantity of cigarettes without excise stamps (a total of 6,000 packs or 600 boxes of cigarettes) that he kept in his family home, which were found and temporarily seized during a house search conducted by authorized officers of the FBiH Police Administration (FUP). He is charged with committing the criminal offense of Illicit Trade in Excise Products under Article 210a, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.


INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF SMUGGLING OF PERSONS

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an indictment against Sead Bilalić* aka "Sejo", born in 1984 in Sarajevo, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is accused of participating in the smuggling of four Egyptian citizens who had previously been smuggled from Montenegro to Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 13 November 2025, in agreement with a person known to him. He was discovered and prevented from committing the crime by members of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina when he tried to pick up illegal migrants in his vehicle near the state border, after which he attempted to escape in his vehicle. The accused is charged with committing the criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons under Article 189, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in conjunction with Articles 26 and 29 of the same Code
