MOTION FOR PROHIBITING MEASURES AGAINST A SIPA MEMBER SUSPECTED OF A CORRUPTION CRIMINAL OFFENCE

He is suspected of abusing his office as a SIPA officer by providing information to suspects about the day and time of searches as part of police activities as part of an operation conducted by SIPA.
During the interrogation in the presence of his lawyer, the suspect admitted to committing the crime.
The prohibition measures include, among other things, a travel ban and a ban on contacting suspects and witnesses in the case, and as part of official procedures, the suspect has been suspended and removed from the SIPA structures.
He is accused of having committed the criminal offence of abuse of office or official authority as set out in the Criminal Code of BiH.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
