PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH PARTICIPATES IN THE CAMPAIGN TO MARK OCTOBER 18, EU ANTI-TRAFFICKING DAY
16.10.2025. 15:39As part of the campaign to prevent human trafficking for the purpose of labor exploitation of foreign workers, a short video on forced labor and the protection of foreign workers was released, which was produced by ICMPD (International Centre for Migration Policy Development) in cooperation with the Network of Anti-Trafficking Coordinators in South-East Europe.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH contributes by participating in the prosecution of criminal offenses of international human trafficking under Article 186 of the Criminal Code of BiH, as well as by joint efforts to prevent and combat labor exploitation of foreign citizens.
The goal of marking this day is to raise public awareness for the problems of human trafficking, with a special emphasis on prevention and protection of victims.
