INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR ILLICIT TRADE IN EXCISE PRODUCTS

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an indictment against Radoslav Bošnjak*, born in 1971 in Bileća, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is accused of transporting 3,480 boxes of cigarettes of different brands and manufacturers in a cargo motor vehicle, with the intention of placing the cigarettes in further circulation, but he was caught and prevented from doing so by police officers on the Stolac-Bileća road.

The accused is charged with having committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trade in Excise Products under Article 210a, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in conjunction with Article 26 of the same Code.

INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR THE CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF SMUGGLING OF PERSONS

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an indictment against Senahid Rustemović*, born in 1955 in Kladanj, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is charged with transporting 14 migrants, citizens of the Republic of Turkey, including seven minors, in the vehicle he was driving, on 30 July 2023, at the location of Mount Dinara, with the intention of transporting them to the territory of the Republic of Croatia, but he was discovered and prevented from doing so by members of the BiH Border Police, in the wider area of ​​Livno near the state border. The accused is charged with attempting to smuggle across the state border persons who did not meet the conditions for legal border crossing, with the intention of obtaining unlawful property gain, whereby he committed the criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons under Article 189 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
