EXHUMATION CARRIED OUT IN GRADAČAC AREA

At the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and with the order of the Court of BiH, an exhumation process was carried out at the Donje Krečane site in the area of Gradačac on Monday 28 July 2025 and on that occasion the incomplete remains of one person were found. The exhumation began on 8 July. During the initial excavations, mines and explosives were found and, consequently, the exhumation process continued after the danger had been eliminated and the explosives removed from the place of discovery.

The remains were transported to the Memorial Center in Tuzla for further forensic and medical processing, and to determine the identity of the missing person through DNA analysis.

EXHUMATION CARRIED OUT IN PRIJEDOR AREA

Acting under the orders of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Court of BiH, an exhumation was carried out in the area of Čarakova near Prijedor on 28 and 29 July 2025. During the exhumation, the complete remains of one person were found and transported to the Commemoration-Identification Šejkovača near Sanski Most for further forensic and medical processing, and to determine the identity of the missing person.
