PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH FILED INDICTMENT AGAINST MARKO PLAVŠIĆ AND OTHERS FOR CRIMINAL OFFENCE OF OBSTRUCTING OF JUSTICE

The
Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an indictment against Marko Plavšić, born in
1989 in Banja Luka, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ljuban Vuković,
born in 1958 in Prijakovci, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the
Republic of Croatia, who are charged that on 25 February 2025 in Banja Luka,
immediately before the date the judgment in case S1 2 K 046070 23 K (Milorad
Dodik et al.) was to be pronounced, with the aim of intimidation, they sent
threats to the judge of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sena Uzunović, via
social media in a publicly available video, in order to prevent her from
performing official actions of conducting the main trial in the phase of public
pronouncement and publication of the judgment in the criminal case pending
before the Court of BiH.
They are charged
with having committed the criminal offence of Obstructing of justice set out in
Article 241 (2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in conjunction
with Article 29 of the same Code.
The
indictment was forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for
confirmation.
