BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE TAKES PART IN INTERNATIONAL OPERATION WITH EUROPOL SUPPORT

Arrest and
search activities are being conducted in several locations in Bosnia and
Herzegovina and are aimed at prosecuting persons suspected of organised crime
related to the illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, including international
smuggling of narcotic drugs, from the territory of South America to the
territory of the EU and the Western Balkans.
The activities are carried out in cooperation with the international institution EUROPOL, and SIPA, the Republika Srpska Ministry of the Interior and the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Ministry of the Interior took part in the implementation of the activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Judicial and police agencies of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia are taking part in the regional cooperation.
Evidence obtained from the SKY application was used in the case.
