CUSTODY PRPOSED FOR SUSPECT IN HIGH-LEVEL ORGANIZED CRIME CASE
18.11.2024. 12:13The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed a motion to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to order custody for the suspect:
- Saša Đukić*, born in 1989 in Bosanski Novi, a citizen of BiH.
The suspect was deprived of liberty in Mladen Popović* et al. case (operation "Vertigo") and is suspected of having, as a member of an organized criminal group and a user of the encrypted Sky application, committed criminal offenses of Organized Crime under Article 250, Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 and Smuggling of Persons under Article 189 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
Custody was requested for the reasons described in Article 132, paragraph 1, subparagraphs a), b) and c) of the CPC BiH. The Assigned Prosecutor explained the reasons for custody in detail at the hearing before the Court of BiH.
