SEVERAL SUSPECTS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY WITHIN HIGH-LEVEL ORGANISED CRIME CASE

Acting
under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and in accordance with
the orders of the Court of BiH, the police officers of the Federation Police
Administration, with the assistance of the BiH Intelligence and Security Agency
and the respective Cantonal Ministries of the Interior from the Una-Sana
Canton, West Herzegovina Canton and Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, deprived seven
persons of their freedom within the ‘Geko’ operation and are currently carrying
out searches at several locations in the area of Sanski Most.
The suspects are under investigation for Organised crime set out in Article 250 of the Criminal Code of BiH in conjunction with the criminal offence of International human trafficking set out in Article 186, the criminal offence of International enticing to prostitution set out in Article 187 of the Criminal Code of BiH, and the criminal offence of Money laundering set out in Article 209 of the same Code.
