PRESS RELEASE
30.09.2024. 15:37Acting under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of
BiH and pursuant to the orders of the Court of BiH, in the continuation of the
operation "Kings" (the case of Zoran Galić et al.), police officers
of the Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime of the Republika Srpska
Ministry of Interior deprived three persons of their liberty in the area of
the city of Banja Luka. Searches are
ongoing at several locations in the area of Banja Luka and Srbac.
The
suspects are under investigation for organized smuggling of large quantities of
cigarettes from Montenegro to BiH and are suspected of having committed the
criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250 of the Criminal Code of
Bosnia and Herzegovina in conjunction with the criminal offense of Illicit Trade
in Excise Products under Article 210a.and other criminal offenses.
