PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH AND FEDERATION POLICE DEPARTMENT CARRY OUT ACTIVITIES COMBATING ORGANIZED CRIME AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING OF WEAPONS AND DUAL-USE PRODUCTS
01.02.2023. 09:18 Acting on the order of a Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, police officers of the Federation Police Department are conducting searches in the area of Tuzla.
The activities are aimed at two individuals who are suspected of having sold parts of weapons and military equipment, including parts of automatic weapons, whose acquisition and possession by citizens is not permitted in any way.
Evidence was gathered that the suspects have, on dozens of occasions, contacted people in several different countries to whom they sold and sent parts of firearms.
An investigator of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is out in the field coordinating the activities of the police officers participating in the searches.
During the searches, a certain amount of evidence was found that indicates the illegal activity of the suspects.
