INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR WAR CRIMES IN THE DERVENTA AREA
18.07.2022. 12:08Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes issued an indictment against Andrija Bjelošević, born in 1954 in Derventa.
He is charged with having, during 1992 and 1993, on several occasions, arrived armed at a restaurant in Derventa where several women were on forced labor, and with having ,on at least four occasions under the threat of force and coercion, committed rape and sexual abuse of a Bosniak woman this causing serious physical and psychological injuries to the victim the consequences of which have caused permanent damage to the victim’s health,
The accused is charged with having committed a criminal offense of War Crimes against the Civilians.The prosecution will prove the allegations of the indictment by presenting 10 witnesses and expert witnesses, four of whom are under protective measures to protect the dignity of the victims in this case, and by submitting around 30 pieces of evidence.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH, which confirmed it.
