The investigation refers to crimes against Serb civilian victims from the area of Hrasnica, Butmir and Sokolović Kolonija, who were illegally detained in the camp of the Elementary School "Aleksa Šantić" and imprisoned in an unfinished building near the skyscraper in Hrasnica.

The accused are charged with the killing of at least 8 captured civilians, and among the suspects are the direct perpetrators of the killings.

According to the evidence gathered, the mentioned suspects, who were members of the 4th Motorized Brigade of the Army of RBiH, are responsible for crimes committed against more than 100 victims related to illegal imprisonment, torture, ill-treatment in humiliating manner, forced labor and infliction of physical and mental injuries that left permanent and severe consequences on the injured victims.

In this case, significant cooperation was achieved with police agencies and law enforcement institutions in BiH, as well as with the judicial institutions of the Republic of Serbia, given that some of the victims are outside BiH.
