CUSTODY MOTION FOR ALL 7 SUSPECTED OF WAR CRIMES IN BALATUN NEAR BIJELJINA

After questioning the suspects, the Assigned Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes filed a motion to the Court of BiH to order custody for all 7 suspects who were deprived of liberty in the SIPA operation conducted pursuant to order of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. 
  • CUSTODY MOTION FOR ALL 7  SUSPECTED OF WAR CRIMES IN BALATUN NEAR BIJELJINA

 Custody was requested for the reasons described in Article 132 (1) (a) and (b) i.e. due to risk of flight and risk that the suspects could obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence and influence witnesses or accomplices.

The motion to order custody was sent to the Court of BiH, which ordered custody pursuant to the motion.
