The accused Mića Trifković has entered into a Plea Agreement admitting his guilt for the commission of a continued criminal offense of Embezzlement in Office – by aiding and abetting.  
  • THE ACCUSED MIĆA TRIFKOVIĆ ENTERED INTO A PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING GUILT

The accused Mića Trifković, born on 22 June 1969 in Sarajevo, a resident of Istočno Sarajevo, has concluded the Plea Agreement with the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pursuant to the Plea Agreement, the Prosecutor and the aforementioned accused person agree that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina impose the sentence of imprisonment for a term of six (6) months on the aforementioned accused, as punishment for the committed criminal offense.

By virtue of signing the Plea Agreement, this accused person has fully admitted the commission of the continued criminal offense of Embezzlement in Office - by aiding and abetting, as referred to in Article 221, Paragraph 2 as read with Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Article 54 and Article 31 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for which he is charged by the Indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina dated 19 December 2014.

The accused Mića Trifković is an employee of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, working as a driver.

Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina proposes that the unlawful material gain, which this accused person acquired by the commission of the said criminal offense together with the accused Nenad Petrović, be confiscated from the accused.

By signing the Plea Agreement, the accused has confirmed to have entered his plea of guilty voluntarily, consciously and with understanding.

With this Plea Agreement, the accused has waived his right to a trial and right to appeal to the sentence pronounced against him by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the basis of this Plea Agreement.

The Plea Agreement has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
