PURSUANT TO THE ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH A WAR CRIMES SUSPECT WAS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY IN BIJELJINA
01.10.2014. 15:24Pursuant to the order of the Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes, members of SIPA arrested Slavko Savić- born on March 21, 1963 in Kremeš - Vogošća municipality.
The above-mentioned suspect is under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians.
He is, in particular, suspected of inhumane treatment of one Bosniak while acting in his capacity as a member of the Military Police of the VRS /RS Army/ in May and June 1993 in the municipality of Vogošća thus committing the criminal offense of war crimes.
The suspect will be questioned by the Assigned Prosecutor following which the Prosecutor will decide whether to file a motion for remand in custody or a motion for order of prohibiting measures with the Court of BiH.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH continues its investigation in this case.
