EXHUMATION OF VICTIMS KILLED DURING THE PAST WAR CARRIED OUT IN BRATUNAC MUNICIPALITY
13.06.2014. 14:40An exhumation was carried out at the location of Kameničko brdo - Kršlje in Bratunac municipality under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. Incomplete remains of three victims were unearthed.
The recovered remains shall be transported to Commemorative Center Tuzla for forensic and criminal investigation processing i.e. determination of the cause of death and collection of DNA samples in order to determine the identity of the victims.
The exhumation process was coordinated by an Investigator of the Special Department for War crimes within the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and handled by the representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, a doctor specializing in forensic medicine and Police Officers of PS Bratunac.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing the missing in BiH, continues its activities in the process of tracing and exhuming the remains of the missing in all parts of BiH.
