PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH ENGAGED IN INVESTIGATION INTO THE LETTER CONTAINING THREATS DIRECTED AGAINST THE INSTITUTIONS OF BIH AND ITS ENTITIES AND AGAINST INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
20.01.2014. 15:23Upon the order of the Chief Prosecutor, who had previously had consultations with the Minister of Security, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH will become directly engaged in coordinating activities aimed at detecting the author of the threatening letter containing threats that the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be attacked.
Although it was an anonymous letter, and such letters are usually not given much importance, the Chief Prosecutor nonetheless decided that a Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH be involved in investigating this matter.
In the period to come, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the law enforcement agencies from both entities, as well as SIPA, OSA and the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH will make necessary assessments and we believe that the author of this letter will be soon found and arrested.
Presently, investigative activities are being conducted in the field, and, once he has received the results and security checks, the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH will decide on further activities.
