EXHUMATION OF THE BODIES OF THOSE THAT WENT MISSING DURING THE PAST WAR CARRIED OUT IN KLJUČ
15.07.2013. 15:45Incomplete remains of one person were unearthed at this location.
The recovered remains shall be transported to the Identification centre „Šejkovača“ Sanski Most where for a post mortem examination and collection of DNA samples aiming to determine the identity.
The exhumation was attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, representatives of Una – Sana Canton MoI, a doctor specializing in forensic medicine and an Investigator of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
The exhumation process was supervised by an investigator of the Prosecutor's Office who acted on instructions of the prosecutor and coordinated the efforts of police, forensics and other authorized persons participating in the exhumation process.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing the missing, continues its activities in the process of tracing and exhuming the missing in all parts of BiH.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
