BY ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE OF BIH A JOINT POLICE OPERATION FOCUSING ON ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN ARMS AND MILITARY EQUIPMENT WAS CARRIED OUT
17.06.2013. 15:16Activities were carried out within the framework of an investigation led by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH against several persons suspected of Illicit Trafficking in Arms, Military Equipment and Dual Use Products.
During the course of the operation a number of suspects were detained and a certain amount of evidence, including illegally produced guns, pistols and parts of weapons as well as a certain amount of narcotic drugs and other evidence seized.
The suspects will be questioned within the legal deadline following which a decision on their further detention will be made.
Activities in this matter will continue.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with law enforcement agencies, continues its activities in the fight against organized crime and corruption.
