EXHUMATION OF CIVILIAN VICTIMS KILLED DURING THE PAST WAR CARRIED OUT IN VIŠEGRAD
17.06.2013. 15:04An exhumation was carried out at the location of Drokan – Višegrad on June 14, 2013 under the supervision of an Investigator of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. Skeletal remains of one person were unearthed.
The recovered remains shall be transported to Goražde for post mortem examination, forensic processing and identification.
The exhumation was attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, a forensic pathologist and Višegrad PS police officers.
The exhumation process was supervised by an investigator of the Prosecutor's Office who acted on instructions of the prosecutor and coordinated the efforts of police, forensics and other authorized persons participating in the exhumation process.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing and identifying the missing, continues its activities in the process of tracing and exhuming the missing in all parts of BiH.
