MOTION FOR REMAND IN CUSTODY AND IMPOSURE OF PROHIBITIVE MEASURES FOR THE SUSPECTS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY IN THE CONTINUANCE OF THE OPERATION "PATRIOT"

Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH filed a motion with the Court of BiH to remand one person into custody, and to impose prohibitive measures on two persons. These individuals were deprived of liberty in the continuance of the operation "Patriot" on June 2, 2013 by authorized officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA.

Motion for remand in custody was filed for the following person:

- S.H. (1959), a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Prosecutor’s Office proposes the Court to remand the suspect into custody for the duration of one month on grounds specified in Article 132, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph b) of the CPC BiH, i.e. due to reasonable fear that the suspect would, if released, destroy, conceal and falsify evidence relevant to criminal proceedings and would influence witnesses and accomplices.

Motion for imposure of prohibitive measures was filed for the following persons:

- S.G. (1984), a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and

- K.S. (1983), a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Prosecutor's Office proposes the Court to impose a ban on meeting with certain persons referred to in Article 126a, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph c) of the CPC BiH on the suspects S.G. and K.S.

The aforementioned suspected persons are charged with the criminal offense of Associating for the Purpose of Perpetrating Criminal Offences under Article 249 of the CC BiH in conjunction with the criminal offence of Illegal Interceding under Article 382 of the CC FBiH, in conjunction with the criminal offence of Illegal Interceding under Article 219 of the CC BiH, in conjunction with Article 29 CC BiH; the suspects S.G. and K.S., are also charged, in conjunction with Article 31 of the CC BiH, with having committed the criminal offense of Associating for the Purpose of Perpetrating Criminal Offences under Article 249 of the CC BiH, in conjunction with the criminal offence of Fraud under Article 294 of the CC FBiH, in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

Motion for remand in custody and imposure of prohibitive measures was filed with the Court of BiH.
