INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST MUHIDIN OKIĆ (1974)
31.05.2013. 15:15Prosecutor of the Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has issued an Indictment against Muhidin Okić, born on 20 April 1974 in Tešanj Municipality, where he also resides, charging him with the commission of the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights, as referred to in Article 243, Paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The Indictment charges Muhidin Okić with muliplying in order to distribute various forms of author's works – books, in his capacity of an owner and responsible person of a privately owned photocopying shop seated in Sarajevo, by copying them illegally using the photocopying shop's equipment, without the authorization of the author or other holder of copyright, or the person entitled to give authorization.
As alleged in the Indictment, on 27 March 2012, thus multiplied author’s works were found, among other items, on the business premises of this photocopying shop.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
