16.05.2013. 15:17
Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime, Corruption and Terrorism of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has issued an Indictment against four persons charged with Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs.

The Indictment has been issued against the following persons:

1.   M. M. (1979) from Banovići, citizen of BiH,

2.   O. R. (1977) from Banovići, with prior convictions, citizen of BiH,

3.   M. E. (1986) from Banovići, citizen of BiH, and

4.   R. E. (1989) from Banovići, citizen of BiH.

The accused persons M.M. and O.R. are charged with organizing a group of people during February 2013 together with persons from the Kingdom of the Netherlands known to them, for the purpose of acquiring material gain, whereas the accused persons M.E. and R.E. are charged with becoming members of the organized group engaged in committing criminal offenses relating to illicit international sale, or purchase for the purpose of such sale, transfer and transport of the cocaine narcotic drug, which was by regulation proclaimed a narcotic drug and which circulation is prohibited.

According to the allegations in the Indictment, the accused persons were going to the territories of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Kingdom of the Netherlands to take over the cocaine narcotic drug, which they were then hiding in the vehicle to avoid police control and transporting to the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

When the SIPA officers stopped and searched the vehicle driven by M.E. on 16 February 2013 in Orašje, they found and seized a parcel packed in small plastic bags and wrapped up with transparent plastic wrap with white adhesive tape around it, containing  978.02 grams of the cocaine narcotic drug, which was hidden in the back of the rear right seat; subsequently, all the accused persons were deprived of liberty.

Due to the aforementioned, these accused persons are charged with the commission of the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, as referred to in Article 195, Paragraph 2, as read with Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
