INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST ELVIS JUKIĆ (1972)
10.05.2013. 15:20The Indictment charges Elvis Jukić with distributing 10,742 copies of CDs, DVDs and play station games of various content, in an undetermined period of time until 14 April 2010, in the “Game Play” CD shop and the residential and commercial facility in Osoje settlement in Posušje, without the authorization of the author or other holder of copyright, or the person entitled to give authorization.
The suspect Elvis Jukić was thus distributing works of author without the authorization of the author or other holder of copyright, or the person entitled to give authorization, whereby he committed the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights, as referred to in Article 243, Paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
