ELIS BRIČIĆ (1991) AND ARMIN ALIČIĆ (1991) CONCLUDED PLEA AGREEMENTS

Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH entered into plea agreements with the following persons:

-        Elis Bričić, born on August 23, 1991 in Tuzla where he resides, BiH citizen, charged with the criminal offense of Counterfeiting of Money under Article  205, Paragraph 1, in conjunction with Article 29 of the CC BiH. The Prosecutor proposed that the accused be rendered an imprisonment sentence in duration of eight (8) months by the Court of BiH, which will not be executed providing that he does not commit another criminal offence within the period of two (2) years;

-        Armin Aličić, born on September 5, 1991 in Tuzla where he resides, BiH citizen,  charged with the criminal offense of Counterfeiting of Money under Article  205, Paragraph 1, in conjunction with Article 29 of the CC BiH and the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Sale of Narcotic Drugs  under Article 238, Paragraph 1 of the CC FBiH. The Prosecutor proposed that the accused be rendered an imprisonment sentence in duration of eleven (11) months by the Court of BiH, which will not be executed providing that he does not commit another criminal offence within the period of one (2) years.

By virtue of signing the agreements the accused persons fully admitted committing the criminal offense they were charged with by the indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued on February 14, 2013.

The proposed sentences are in line with the role of the accused persons in commission of the criminal offenses.

Pursuant to the plea agreement the accused have pledged to testify before the Court of BiH when summoned.

With this agreement the accused persons confirm that they are aware of the content of the indictment issued by the BiH Prosecutor's Office issued on February 14, 2013. They also confirm that the plea statements were given voluntarily, knowingly, with full understanding and undertake to reimburse the costs of the criminal proceedings in the amount that may eventually be determined by the Court of BiH.

Pursuant to these agreements the accused persons have waived their rights to a trial and appeal to the criminal sanction that shall be rendered to them by the Court of BiH.

The agreements were submitted to the Court of BiH.
