CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH THE DELEGATION OF THE FIRST CHAMBER OF THE HIGH COUNCIL FOR JUDGES AND PROSECUTORS OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY

Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH Goran Salihović, met with the representatives of the First Chamber of the High Council for Judges and Prosecutors of the Republic of Turkey.

The delegation of the Republic of Turkey was represented by the President of the Chamber and 12 senior judicial officials.

 

At the meeting the Chief Prosecutor Salihovic informed the guests about the structure and jurisdiction of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, as well as about the cooperation of the prosecutor’s offices with judicial institutions and law enforcement agencies at the national and international level.

 

The issue of strengthening the cooperation between the judicial institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey was also discussed at the meeting.

 

Prosecutor Salihovic emphasized the importance of cooperation between the judicial institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and coordination of institutions through the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

 

During their stay in BiH the guests from Turkey will visit several judicial institutions including HJPC BiH, Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Court of BiH.
