INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR IMPERMISSIBLE USE OF COPYRIGHTS
28.02.2013. 15:31Prosecutor of Department III issued an indictment against Emir PIRALIĆ - born on January 26, 1973 in Bihać where he resides, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina - charging him with the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The indictment charges Emir Piralić with having, during the second half of 2012 as the owner of a video salon in Bihać, put into circulation illegally copied copyrights stored on different sound and image carriers aware that those were illegal copies made contrary to the applicable legal provisions and without permission of the author or other copyright holder.
As alleged in the indictment, on August 22,2012 the authorized officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA have found and seize, 2631 DVDs and 740 CDs of various content with a total of 38 pieces of CD/DVD plastic cover boxes.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
