INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST SAFER MUFTIĆ (1972)
14.11.2012. 15:41Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against Safer MUFTIĆ - born on May 17, 1972 in Vareš, residing in Sarajevo, BiH citizen - charging him with the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the CC BiH, in conjunction with the Law on Copyright and Related Rights in BiH.
The indictment charges Safer MUFTIĆ to have, on June 16, 2011 in the premises of his personal craft shop in Sarajevo, without permission of the author or other copyright holder, used appropriate computer and other equipment for copying and circulating 7 electronic copies and 22 print copies of university textbooks and books that were found during the search of the accused and seized by the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
