INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR IMPERMISSIBLE USE OF COPYRIGHTS
07.09.2012. 15:16Prosecutor of Department III issued an indictment against Anita ARAPOVIĆ - born on February 26, 1980 in Mostar, where she resides, a citizen of BiH - for Impermissible Use of Copyrights.
The indictment charges Anita ARAPOVIĆ to have, on June 1, 2011 in the premises of her independent trade shop, kept for the purpose of distribution 478 pirated sound and image carriers (CDs and DVDs) without permission of the author or other copyright holder or a person authorized to give approval, well aware that the items were counterfeits.
The aforementioned actions are contrary to Articles 20 and 22 of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights hence the accused is charged with having committed the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
