INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST ELVIS HASEČIČ (1990)
25.05.2012. 15:09Prosecutor of Department III issued an indictment against Elvis HASEČIĆ, born on June 30, 1990 in Priboj - the Republic of Serbia, residing in Sarajevo, a citizen of BiH and the Republic of Serbia, charging him with the criminal offense of Impermissible use of Copyrights under Article 243 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The indictment charges Elvis HASEČIĆ to have, on April 26, 2012, as the owner of a trade shop located in the business premises of a shopping center in Sarajevo, put 377 DVDs, CDs and PC games into circulation aware that those were illegal copies multiplied contrary to Articles 20 and 22 of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights ("Official Gazette of BiH", No. 63/10).
As the indictment alleges the aforementioned items were found and seized by authorized officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency – SIPA during the search of his office building.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
