INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST ADNAN KORJENIĆ (1965)
22.05.2012. 15:51The indictment charges Adnan Korjenić of having made unauthorized copies of several copyrighted works on CDs/DVDs in his premises in Sarajevo and without the permission of the author, another copyright holder or a person authorized to give permission.
As alleged in the indictment, the accused Adnan Korjenić multiplied more than 500 copyrights of various content - movies, series, cartoons, music, PC games on CDs and DVDs aware that those were illegally multiplied copie, made contrary to the applicable provisions of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights ("Official Gazette" No. 63/10), thereby committing the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the CC BiH, in conjunction with the Law on Copyright and Related Rights ("Official Gazette of BiH, no.63/10).
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
