OSCE MISSION TO BIH HEAD CONVEYED HIS APPRECIATION FOR THE CHIEF PROSECUTOR’S CONTRIBUTION AT THE LAUNCH OF THE WAR CRIMES PROCESSING PROJECT

CUSTODY MOTION FILED FOR THREE SUSPECTS ARRESTED DURING THE CONTINUANCE OF THE POLICE OPERATION "PANAMA"

29.03.2013. 15:13 The Prosecutor's Office of BiH filed a motion to the Court of BiH to remand three persons suspected of committing the criminal offense of Abuse of Office or Official Authority under Article 220, Paragraph 3 of the CC BiH and Lack of Commitment in Office under Article 224 , Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST THREE PERSONS FOR SMUGGLING OF PERSONS

29.03.2013. 15:10 The Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against I.B., born on March 26,  1962 in Prizren in Kosovo, residing in Durres - Republic of Albania,  Albanian national, who has been remanded in custody pursuant to the decision of the Court of BiH.

THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE OF BIH INITIATED ACTIVITIES RELATED TO INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF PROSECUTORS TO WORK ON WAR CRIMES CASES

28.03.2013. 15:38 Following the meeting with the representatives of the associations of Serb war crimes victims in BiH and the fact that they supported strengthening the capacities of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH as well as increase in the number of prosecutors in the aim of more efficient prosecution of war crimes, the Prosecutor's Office views this as a positive development in cooperation and capacity strengthening of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

THE ACCUSED JASMIN SMAILAGIĆ (1959) CONCLUDED A PLEA AGREEMENT

28.03.2013. 15:33 The accused Jasmin SMAILAGIĆ concluded an Agreement on admission of guilt for the committed criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST TWO PERSONS FOR COUNTERFEITING OF MONEY

28.03.2013. 15:31 The Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against two persons charging them with the criminal offense of Counterfeiting of Money under Article 205, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST RADOVAN BAJOVIĆ (1971)

28.03.2013. 15:29 The Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against Radovan BAJOVIĆ aka "Rašo," charging him with the criminal offense of Smuggling of Goods under Article 214, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST HRUSTAN BOTIĆ (1983)

28.03.2013. 15:26 Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against Hrustan BOTIĆ - born on January 13, 1983 in the municipality of Kotor Varoš where he resides, with prior convictions, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST SRĐAN ZEKIĆ (1975)

28.03.2013. 15:24 Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against Srdjan ZEKIĆ - born on January 29, 1975 in Sarajevo, permanently residing in Sarajevo and Frankfurt-Germany, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina - charging him with the criminal offense of Abuse of Office or Official Authority under Article 220 Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE OF BIH AND SIPA CARRIED OUT AN OPERATION CODENAMED "PANAMA".

27.03.2013. 15:30 By order of the Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crimes and Corruption within the Prosecutor's Office of BIH, the authorized officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA conducted an extensive operation that included arrests of several people and raids on several locations in several cities. The operation involved several police agencies, and hundreds of police officers. Today's operation is a continuation of the operation codenamed "Panama" that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has carried out intensively for some time now.
