A prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has issued an indictment against:
Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milanko Kajganić, held a meeting with a team of Prosecutors who had visited EUROPOL and EUROJUST, in order to agree on further activities in the fight against organized crime.
Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milanko Kajganić, participated in the celebration marking the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation in Moscow.
Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milanko Kajganić, together with the Head of the Chief Prosecutor’s Office, Adnan Karović, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Bosnia and Herzegovina, HE Dr Ulrike Hartmann and Georg Stawa, Counsellor for the Western Balkans.
Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milanko Kajganić, together with his Deputy Diana Kajmaković, met with a delegation of senior officials of the U.S. Administration, who are dealing with counterterrorism, terrorist financing, money laundering and financial crime.
Acting on the order of the Prosecutor from the Special Department for War Crimes, in the area of Zvornik and Rogatica, SIPA officers arrested two persons suspected of crimes against humanity committed in Lješevo area - Ilijaš municipality in June 1992.
Acting on the order of the Prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, BiH Border Police officers searched several locations used by eight suspects in several cities - Bijeljina, Brčko, Ugljevik and Doboj, due to suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of Organizing a Group or Association for Smuggling or Distribution of Goods on Which Duties Were Not Paid under Article 215 and the criminal offense of Smuggling of Goods under Article 214 of the CC BiH.
Assigned Prosecutor proposed custody for the suspect for the reasons described in Article 132 (1) (a) and (b) of the CPC of BiH i.e. due to risk of flight and the risk that the suspect could obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence and influence to witnesses or accomplices.
Acting upon a request for mutual legal assistance of a Prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, partner institutions of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, are searching facilities used by a person under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption coordinates the activities of police officers from SIPA, RS MoI and Sarajevo Canton MoI, who are conducting large-scale arrests and searches of more than 20 suspects.
