PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BiH INITIATED CHECKS DUE TO 1970 DEBTORS WHO FAILED TO PAY VALUE ADDED TAX IN THE AMOUNT OF 296 MILLION BAM

14.01.2014. 15:06 Upon the order of the Chief Prosecutor, a team of Prosecutors has been formed in the Prosecutor’s office of BiH to conduct intensive checks of the VAT arrears for approximately 1970 legal persons and economic entities whose names have recently been published, in order to determine whether there are elements for criminal prosecution of persons responsible for tax evasions and failure to pay taxes.  

REPRESENTATIVES OF THE JUDICIAL SERVICE COMMISSION OF KENYA VISITED THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH

13.01.2014. 15:42 Delegation of the Judicial Service Commission of Kenya, consisting of representatives of the various judicial institutions, visited the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. The aim of the visit was to provide input for the judicial officials from Kenya about the internal organization and capacities of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, particularly in the area of prosecution of war crimes and organized crime.      

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST IVAN ANČIĆ (1962)

09.01.2014. 15:09 The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has issued an Indictment against Ivan Ančić, charged with the commission of the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians, as referred to in Article 173, Paragraph 1, items (c), (e) and (f) of the BiH CC, all in conjunction with Article 180, paragraphs (1) and (2) and Article 31 of the same Code.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST SEVEN PERSONS FOR WAR CRIMES COMMITTED IN KOTOR VAROŠ AREA

- Savo Tepić, born on 25 January 1958 in Kotor Varoš,
- Dragoslav Bojić, born on 15 January 1944 in Kneževo,
- Duško Vujičić, born on 09 March 1970 in Čelinac,
- Duško Maksimović, born on 01 December 1961 in Kotor Varoš,
- Radojko Keverović, born on 24 April 1959 in Kneževo,
- Rade Škorić, born on 04 December 1946 in Kotor Varoš,
- Ilija Kurušić, born on 30 July 1972 in Kotor Varoš.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST FIVE PERSONS FOR ORGANIZED CRIME AND TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS

06.01.2014. 15:49 A Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has issued an Indictment against the following persons:
- Ć. M., born on 03 February 1967 in Busovača,
- V. J., born on 04 May 1981 in Zenica,
- Č. I., born on 27 July 1973 in Zenica,
- Č. M., born on 14 April 1975 in Zenica,
- Z. A., born on 27 September 1985 in Zenica.

03.01.2014. 15:16 Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an indictment against Rasim Spahić, born on January 5, 1957 in Zenica municipality where he resides, with prior convictions, citizen of BiH.
