BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE AND SIPA CARRY OUT OPERATION TO FIGHT CORRUPTION

These activities pertain
to the detection and prosecution of corrupt activities of employees of the
Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As part of the investigation, evidence was gathered that individual employees of this police institution perpetrated criminal offences of corruption, abused their position, received gifts or other forms of benefits, in exchange for preferential treatment in the process of employment at the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in other institutions.
The prosecutor in charge of this case coordinates investigative actions and activities in this case, together with SIPA police officers. Two suspects have been deprived of liberty.
