MORTAL REMAINS OF ONE PERSON FOUND DURING EXHUMATION IN HADŽIĆI

Upon orders issued by the prosecutor in charge
of the case and by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an Investigator of the
Special Department for War Crimes has coordinated the work of authorised officers
participating in the exhumation process at the location of Kahrimani-Pazarić in
the municipality of Hadžići.
At the aforementioned location, mortal remains of one person were found, and they will be transferred to the Public Utility Company of ‘City Cemeteries’ of Visoko for further forensic processing and identification by way of the DNA analysis.
In addition to the representative of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the exhumation process was attended by a representative of a team of forensic specialists, as well as by representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons of Bosnia and Herzegovina and workers with necessary mechanisation, whereas police officers of the Hadžići Police Station of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of the Interior were securing the location and providing forensic and technical support.
