Pursuant to the instruction of the Chief Prosecutor, and in accordance with the Conclusions of the HJPC of BiH, dated 10 February 2023, the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, in accordance with the obligations assumed from the Revised National War Crimes Strategy and Annex B, carried out the necessary verifications and prepared an updated information on the cases involving persons with the standard A marking designated by the prosecutors of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY),
In accordance with the conclusions of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC of BiH), the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH regularly submits information on cases in which persons with the standard A marking are registered to the HJPC of BiH, as well as to the Standing Commission for the Efficiency and Quality of the Prosecutor’s Offices of the HJPC of BiH.

This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
