Remand in custody was proposed for the reasons stipulated in Article 132, paragraph 1, points b) and c) of the CPC of BiH, i.e., due to risk that by remaining at large the suspect could obstruct the investigation, conceal evidence and influence witnesses or accomplices.

He is charged with having, in the past period, contacted one person and sought an illegal financial benefit for himself in the amount of Euro 10,000 in order to, in in his capacity as an official and employee of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, try to influence and obtain a more favorable status for the alleged suspect.
