MOTION TO EXTEND CUSTODY FOR THREE SUSPECTS WITHIN THE OPERATION CODE NAMED "NEVERA"
30.08.2022. 08:01 A Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption submitted a motion to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina to extend custody for two months for all three suspects, who were deprived of their liberty in the operation codenamed "Nevera" /unfaithful/.
Motion to extend custody was sent for the suspects: Edvin Imamović (1989), Emir Begić (1992) and Emir Subašić (1989).
The extension of custody was requested due to risk of flight of the suspects, risk that they could hinder the investigation, conceal evidence and exert influence on witnesses or accomplices, as well as repeat the criminal offense or complete what was started.The suspects are under investigation for the criminal offense of organized crime, in conjunction with the criminal offense of illicit traffic in narcotic drugs and money laundering from the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Measure of remand in custody is necessary to ensure the smooth continuation and completion of the investigation in this organized crime case.
