MORTAL REMAINS OF AT LEAST SIX PEOPLE FOUND AT EXHUMATION IN MOSTAR
02.06.2022. 08:10 Exhumation of the remains of the victims of the previous war is being carried out in the area of Međine in Mostar. So far, the remains of at least six more people have been found.
The remains will be sent for further forensic processing and identification through DNA analysis in the premises of the city cemetery "Sutina" in Mostar.
An investigator from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is present at the location and is, under the supervision of the Assigned Prosecutor, coordinating the work and activities of authorized officials involved in the exhumation process BiH Institute for Missing Persons, International Commission for Missing Persons ICMP BiH, necessary workers and machinery, as well as police officers of the Ministry of the Interior of the Herzegovina Neretva Canton who secure the location.The exhumation at this site will continue tomorrow.
