  • FOLLOWING THE DECISION OF THE HIGH REPRESENTATIVE, A CASE WILL BE FORMED IN THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH

After the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Valentin Inzko, has passed amendments to the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina that prohibit and punish any denial of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, a case will be formed within the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to monitor and record all publications of individuals, groups or associations which express views denying genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, that are communicated after the entry into force of these amendments to the Criminal Code.

The collection of materials will be carried out in cooperation with partner police and security agencies, so that the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and partner institutions could act within their legal powers.
