3 PERSONS SUSPECTED OF ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN ARMS AND MILITARY EQUIPMENT HANDED OVER TO THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE OF BIH. A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF WEAPONS AND EXPLOSIVES WAS SEIZED
09.07.2012. 14:41Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA arrested 3 persons, suspected of having committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Arms, Military equipment and Dual Use Products under Article 193 of the Criminal Code of BiH, in the area of Zenica.
Following the arrest of the aforementioned persons, a significant amount of explosives, grenades, explosive substances and other military equipment was discovered and seized.
The persons were deprived of liberty and handed over to the assigned prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH who is investigating the case.
In the interest of protecting the investigation the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH cannot provide any more information about this case.
