INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST TWO PERSONS FOR ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS
07.05.2012. 15:11The indictment was issued against the following persons:
1. B.S. born on May 13, 1990 in Novi Sad, Republic of Serbia, where he resides, with prior convictions, a citizen of Republic of Serbia, currently in custody,
2. K.M. born on January 24, 1989 in Virovitica, Republic of Croatia, residing in Banja Luka, and
3. Ž. A. born on April 24, 1992 in Banja Luka, where he resides, a citizen of BiH and Republic of Croatia, currently in custody.
The accused are alleged to have committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195, Paragraph 2 in conjunction with Paragraph 1, all in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They are alleged to have committed international smuggling of about 1 kg of the narcotic drug "Marijuana" and about 180 grams of amphetamine known as "Speed" during 2011.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
