 Mr. Goran Salihović, Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and his closest associates have visited the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and met with Mr. Đuro Knežević, SIPA Deputy Director.

BIH PROSECUTOR´S OFFICE PUTS FORWARD A MOTION FOR CUSTODY AGAINST THE SUSPECT MILENKO KRSMANOVIĆ

Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor´s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has put forward a Motion with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina proposing custody against the suspect Milenko Krsmanović aka Krša, born on 24 January 1957 in Bijele Vode in the Municipality of Sokolac, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is suspected to have committed the criminal offense of Obstruction of Justice (as referred to in Article 241 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina) and the criminal offenses of Murder and Incitement (as referred to in Article 148 and Article 24 of the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska, respectively).

Acting upon the order of the Prosecutor from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor´s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) carried out an action in the territory of Herzegovina, mostly in the area of Mostar, Čitluk and Ljubuški, which resulted in depriving the following suspects of their liberty:

Prosecutor from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has put forward a Motion with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina seeking that prohibiting measures be ordered against four persons suspected of war crimes committed in the territory of the Municipality of Čapljina.

This morning, acting upon the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the instructions given by the assigned Prosecutor, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) deprived four persons of their liberty, as these persons are suspected to have committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians in the territory of the Municipality of Čapljina.

INCOMPLETE MORTAL REMAINS OF SEVERAL PERSONS FOUND DURING THE EXHUMATION IN BRATUNAC

At the location of Bokčkin Potok near Bratunac, an exhumation was carried out upon the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The exhumation was supervised and coordinated by the assigned Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
