ON ORDERS OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH, AN OPERATION CODENAMED “BLINKER” CARRIED OUT WITHIN THE FIGHT AGAINST ILLICIT TRADE IN EXCISE PRODUCTS

28.06.2022. 11:55 On orders of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, SIPA police officers, in cooperation with police officers of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior and the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH, conducted searches at five locations in the municipality of Šamac and brought in four suspects. The search was also subsequently carried out for the fifth suspect who was found to possess items that could serve as evidence in further criminal proceedings.

MOTION TO EXTEND CUSTODY FOR SUSPECT DRAGAN ŠOJIĆ

27.06.2022. 15:38  The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH sent a motion to extend custody for another two months for the suspect Dragan Šojić (1961), Director of the Service for Joint Affairs of BiH Institutions, who is under investigation for criminal offences of corruption.

INVESTIGATION CARRIED OUT AT SARAJEVO AIRPORT

23.06.2022. 13:30 The on-call prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH coordinated the investigation carried out by the investigation team at Sarajevo Airport. After the investigation, according to the preliminary findings of experts there are no indications that would lead to the conclusion that the damage to the aircraft was caused by firearms. 

ON-CALL PROSECUTOR ORDERS INVESTIGATION OF AIRCRAFT AT SARAJEVO AIRPORT

23.06.2022. 09:53 After receiving information that the regular inspection of an aircraft, which arrived on a flight from Zagreb at Sarajevo Airport, showed damage to the fuselage, which may have been caused by a bullet shot from a firearm, the on-call prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH requested an investigation by a crime scene investigation team in the presence of officials from the BiH Civil Aviation Directorate.
