The conference of prosecutors within the South East European Prosecutors Advisory Group (SEEPAG), with the participation of prosecutors and specialist staff from several South East European countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Albania, Moldova, Romania and Turkey) and representatives of the European Judicial Network and the Kingdom of Belgium, organized by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is taking place in Sarajevo.

Acting on the orders of a prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, SIPA police officers carried out an operation of deprivation of freedom and search of several persons suspected of smuggling large quantities of narcotic drugs “speed” totaling about 15 kilograms, which on the illegal narcotic drug market in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad reaches the value of tens of thousands of BAM.

As part of the activities of the Border Police of BiH in coordination with the duty prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, an Afghan citizen was discovered and deprived of his freedom in Kozluk, Zvornik area, in an attempt to smuggle 26 illegal migrants of Afro-Asian descent, who had crossed the border between the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Drina River in a rubber boat.
