Police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior are acting on the orders of a prosecutor from the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and are depriving the suspects of their freedom and searching them in the Sarajevo area and its surroundings.

A prosecutor of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has sent a request to the judicial institutions of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for the extradition to the judiciary of BiH of the suspect M.G. who has been residing in the Netherlands for a long time.

Having been contacted by members of the Police Department of the Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Ministry of the Interior in Goražde, the duty Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina coordinated the activities related to the seizure of a larger quantity of tobacco, namely 450 kilograms of tobacco that did not have the required documentation or valid stamps, which was found during the control of a vehicle stopped on a highway while coming from the direction of Foča. The duty Prosecutor gave instructions to the police officers regarding the documenting of this criminal offence.

Damir Miskin (1968), the person accused of committing the criminal offense of war crime of rape and sexual abuse of a Bosniak victim in the Nevesinje area, has admitted his guilt for the said war crime committed in June 1992 and he has signed a Plea Agreement in the presence of his attorney.

Under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the exhumation/ clearing up of the terrain at the Hajvazi site in the Osmaci municipality has been completed, and incomplete mortal remains of at least one person have been found.

Having questioned the suspects, the assigned Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption put forward a Motion within the legally prescribed time limit, seeking that the measure of custody be ordered in respect of the two suspects who had been deprived of liberty in the action ordered by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and carried out by the police of the Republika Srpska Ministry of the Interior.
