01.08.2022. 15:34 Police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs are acting on the orders of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and are depriving of liberty and carrying out searches of the suspects in Sarajevo and its surroundings under the supervision of a prosecutor from the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption.

25.07.2022. 14:38  Acting in the case of organized crime, connected with the international smuggling of large quantities of the narcotic drug Cocaine as well as other criminal offences, which relate to BiH, the countries of the region, the EU, as well as overseas countries, a prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH submitted a detailed motion for remand in custody of the following suspects:

BORDER POLICE MEMBER SUSPECTED OF CORRUPTIVE ACTION AND PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO ORGANIZED CRIME STRUCTURES DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY

25.07.2022. 10:39 Acting on the order and under the supervision of the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the police officers of the BiH BP deprived an active employee of the BiH Border Police of liberty. 

MOTION FOR REMAND IN CUSTODY FILED FOR 5 PERSONS SUSPECTED OF ORGANIZED CRIME AND ILLICIT DRUG TRAFFICKING

25.07.2022. 08:35  Having questioned the suspects in presence of a lawyer, the prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina submitted to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina a motion for remand in custody for all five suspects who were deprived of liberty in the operation of SIPA and partner police agencies, in the area of Trebinje and its surroundings.

ON CALL PROSECUTOR OF THE BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE AT THE SCENE OF THE PLANE CRASH IN NIŠIĆI

23.07.2022. 22:32  The on call prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with police officers of the Sarajevo Canton MoI and representatives of other competent institutions and agencies, went to the location of the Nišić plateau, located not far from Sarajevo, where the crash of an aircraft was recorded.

APPEAL FILED AGAINST THE ACQUITTAL OF RAMIĆ AGAN (1962)

22.07.2022. 14:45  Having received a written copy of the verdict, Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes filed an appeal against the first-instance verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina by which the accused Agan Ramić was acquitted of war crimes committed against the victims of Serb ethnicity in the area of Konjic.

INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR ASSOCIATING FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERPETRATING CRIMINAL OFFENCES AND COUNTERFEITING OF MONEY

22.07.2022. 10:21 Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office issued an indictment against Benjamin Spahović, born in 1997 in Sarajevo, Jahja Lokmić, born in 1994 in Sarajevo and Anja Zovko, born in 1995 in the Netherlands.      

INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR SMUGGLING OF MIGRANTS

20.07.2022. 14:23  Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an indictment against Adna Skenderović, born in 1996 in Zenica, living in Sarajevo, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

20.07.2022. 08:32 Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milanko Kajganić and Prosecutor Suada Pašić, met with the representatives of the Embassy of the United States of America, Ms. Natalija Šušak, the human rights officer of the US Embassy, Mr. Frank Bradsher, Resident Legal Advisor of the US Department of Justice’s Office of Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training (US DoJ/OPDAT), as well as their associates.  

INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR WAR CRIMES IN THE DERVENTA AREA

18.07.2022. 12:08 Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes issued an indictment against Andrija Bjelošević, born in 1954 in Derventa.
