25.10.2022. 13:18  The European Day of Justice, which is celebrated in a large number of institutions in EU and Council of Europe countries on October 25, was marked by holding a formal collegium with presentation of the results, as well as the plan of activities in the coming period by the Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić.

24.10.2022. 13:00 A Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an indictment against Muzafer ČELIGIJA, born in 1976 in Sarajevo, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

20.10.2022. 11:55 By the Decision of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, rendered at its session held on 20 October 2022, former Acting Chief Prosecutor Milanko Kajganić was appointed as the Chief Prosecutor.  

IN THE AREA OF STANARI MUNICIPALITY AN EXHUMATION WAS COMPLETED BY ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH

17.10.2022. 15:40  The remains of at least two persons were exhumed at the site of village Brestovo, Kazarević hamlet in the Stanari municipality. The remains were sent for forensic medical processing and identification based on DNA analysis to the City Cemetery JK a.d. Banja Luka.

PERSON ACCUSED OF INTERNATIONAL HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND INTERNATIONAL ENTICING PERSONS INTO PROSTITUTION ADMITTED GUILT BY AGREEMENT

17.10.2022. 10:18  The accused, Nachinkin Nataliia (1989), a citizen of Ukraine, pleaded guilty to the criminal offense of International Enticing Persons into Prostitution under Article 187, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in conjunction with Article 29 of the same Code.

BY ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH AN EXHUMATION COMPLETED IN THE AREA OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BOSANSKI NOVI / NOVI GRAD

17.10.2022. 08:38  At the site of the local cemetery in the municipality of Bosanski novi/Novi Grad, the remains of two persons, who are assumed to be victims of the last war, were exhumed. The remains were sent to the City Cemetery public communal joint-stock company Banja Luka for forensic medical processing and identification based on DNA analysis.

ACCUSED IN THE CASE OF ORGANIZED SMUGGLING OF ILLEGAL MIGRANTS ADMITTED GUILT BY AGREEMENT

12.10.2022. 14:05  The accused Ahmed Iftkhar (1977), a citizen of Pakistan, who is charged in the case codenamed Lipa with organized smuggling of a large number of illegal migrants, has pleaded guilty to the criminal offenses charged by the BiH Prosecutor’s Office. A sentence of 3.5 years of imprisonment was proposed for the accused, as one of the highest sentences imposed so far for this criminal offense.

07.10.2022. 12:19 A Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an indictment against the accused Dragoje ZMIJANJAC AKA "Zmicko", born in 1951 in the municipality of Prijedor, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, currently serving a prison sentence. 

CUSTODY MOTION FOR A SUSPECTED MEMBER OF AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZED CRIME GROUP

07.10.2022. 10:01 After questioning the suspect, the Assigned Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed a motion for remand in custody to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the suspect Adi Nukić, born in 1990 in Sarajevo, citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

06.10.2022. 14:01  Acting on the order of a Prosecutor from the BiH Prosecutor’s Office, the police officers of the Sarajevo Canton MoI deprived the suspect Adi Nukić, born in 1990 in Sarajevo, of liberty in Sarajevo.
